Then There Were 3: The Hot Wheels '15 Dodge Charger R/T

Modern Dodge Challengers are awesome. Modern Chargers? Not so much. Until now. The updated styling for 2015 and the optional 'Hellcat' engine make it one mean beast. The Hellcat is undoubtedly the meanest production engine in America right now with its staggering 707 horsepower. I can't afford that kind of horsepower, but luckily Hot Wheels has made 3 fantastic zero-HP models.

The 2016 Hot Wheels debut of the Charger R/T saw refreshingly clean mono-color liveries with black accents. Like Matchbox, Hot Wheels does well to keep its realistic cars looking clean. The 2017 'A' case sees the Hot Wheels Charger get a much busier livery. While busy, the Mopar inspired theme doesn't become off-putting.

I'm now up-to-date on the Charger, which wasn't too hard given that there are only 3 versions. All 3 versions are worth picking up, although the New Model debuts look better than the 2017 livery. In addition to the 3 1/64 scale releases, Mattel teamed up with Uber and Star Wars to create a  1/1 scale Stormtrooper Hellcat. I've included a photo of that model as well. Enjoy the photos and get Charging!

Happy Collecting!!
