Mattel tends to go all out with its Toy Fair releases, particularly for the Hot Wheels brand. The BMW CSL for 2017 is no exception. The CSL joins the rank of some absolutely exceptional Toy Fair models we've seen over the past few years. 2016 was the Porsche 934 RSR Turbo, 2015 the Mustang GT, 2014 the Corvette Stingray, you get the point. Oh, and 2013 was the Kool Kombi and 2011 the '69 COPO Corvette, both Toy Fair legends.
With 2017 around the corner, we're set for the 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL Toy Fair model. Is the BMW worthy of the hype generated by the Porsche 934, Kool Kombi and COPO Corvette? I'll let you decide.
