Things are moving right along here in January with the Hot Wheels 'D' case hitting most retailers in the United States and a few in Canada. I'm still missing The '91 Acura NSX in yellow and the '69 Dodge Charger 500 Mooneyes Edition from this case. Absent those two models, here are the 'D' Case highlights. With the 'E' case highlights slated for later this week I didn't want to wait to find those last two models.

The obvious winners from the 'D' case is the 'Fugu Z'. It's tough to photograph white cars well, but this one sizzles in real life. The '55 Chevy is a close second. The matte black paint scheme with green flames sets this hot rod off perfectly. It's nice to see the Plymouth Barracuda Formula back and it looks good with flames-done-right. Other winners include the licensed Ford Focus RS and Falken Tire Toyota Off Road Truck. The Tooned VW Bug is a nice counterpart to 2015's Kool Kombi also. I didn't find the Regular or Super TH, but the Super is the Toyota Off Road, while the Regular is a Tooned '69 Camaro Z28. Enjoy the photos!
