I'm guilty of tossing around more than a few superlatives on this blog when describing 1/64 scale toy cars that I like. This one is really special though. The 2015 Hot Wheels Nationals Dinner Car '76 Greenwood Corvette is truly breathtaking. Like the Candy Striper '55 Chevy Gasser and the Boulevard Datsun 510 Wagon, this '76 Greenwood Corvette is one for the ages.

It was way too hard to resist opening this one, even if it is limited to only 1200 pieces. The 'Coke-Bottle' styling makes this casting extra pretty and in this deco and wheel combo it's the most iconic of the Greenwoods. The red-white-and-blue color scheme is fitting for an American icon and the twisting orange track on the sides is fitting for a Hot Wheels icon. The Real Rider 10 spoke Cobra-style wheels are perfect, especially rolling on lo-pro Goodyears.
Other than that, there's not much more to say. The pictures are enough to leave you drooling. Enjoy...
