Raw: The Exquisite Greenlight 1986 Fleetwood Bounder!

We did a side-by-side comparison of the 2016 and 1986 Greenlight Fleetwood Bounders in 1/64 Scale a few weeks back. You can check that out here!

In that review, I was amazed by the perfect scale the Bounders have. These things are massive. And they are huge on the road in real life too, so it makes sense. Usually when a 1/64 diecast manufacturer does a truck or motorhome they sacrifice scale to make it fit in a 3 inch blister. Not so with Greenlight, this thing is monstrous. I put a Matchbox Ford Explorer next to it so you can compare. (And I think the Matchbox is even a little bigger than 1/64 scale)

My only complaint when reviewing the Black Bandit Fleetwood Bounders was that it was difficult to appreciate the immense detail Greenlight put into the casting because everything was painted black. That complaint is totally moot with this raw 1986 First Cut Fleetwood Bounder. Greenlight has been releasing a 'First Cut' lately when it tools a new casting. First Cuts are basically ZAMAC versions of the casting. They're nice because you can really soak in all of the casting's details and the Bounder is no exception.

The Greenlight First Cut 1986 Fleetwood Bounder definitely does not disappoint. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Happy Collecting!!
