Here we are with another casting-up-to-date post. This time it's my favorite Hot Wheels Lamborghini casting. With so many Hot Wheels Lambos, it's hard to pick a favorite, but the Sesto gets the nod. I'm steadily becoming more interested in exotic 1/64 scale diecast. In the past, I've ignored the super cars and the exotics. Sure, the real cars are drool-worthy, but 1/64 scale replicas of Ferraris, Lambos and Jags never seem to live up to expectations. (mine anyways). Plus, there's nothing overly unique about Hot Wheels churning out another Italian specimen. Auto World making a 1969 Kingswood Estate Station Wagon? That's more interesting to me than another Ferrari or McLaren.
The Sesto Elemento is unique in its own right. Only 20 of this carbon fiber phenom were ever built. Yes, twenty. Talk about rare. And fast. And expensive. The matte carbon fiber debut with red accentuation is the accurate color that the real thing came in. The teal, lime green and matte white releases look nearly as fantastic, but are all fantasy colors as the 1:1 scale Sesto only came with the carbon fiber look.
However you slice it, the Sesto Elemento is a hot casting. Since it's been mainline-only so far, it's also easy to get up to date. Enjoy the photos!
Happy Collecting!!
